This is how I see myself. And maybe so I am. Behind the mask of tenderness and education a puzzled face, restless, absorbed. A penetrating and crumpled gaze. Bent over to reflect. Words escape, or they try to, from a semi-opened mouth. A kippah, a scarlet beret on top, autoironically cardinal. The officiant-artist could wear it for holy reverential devotion and its mystery. Three colors: black, for the background and face lineaments, white, eyes and teeth, and red, for the beret. Nigredo, albedo, rubedo. An alchemical sequence. An ancient and unknown archetype. Maybe an inner need for soaring and freedom, getting rid of others' souls and mine, black putrefacrion,to the break of dawn. And after rebirth, to the Fire.
